HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center will host hosting a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease & Exercise class at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at 22 Town Farm Road.

The confidence gained through a successful, general conditioning exercise program can greatly improve quality of life when COPD is present, according to a release from the center.

Those who attend can learn about COPD and other pulmonary concerns, benefits, precautions, medical clearance and modes of exercise.

The cost is $10. To sign up for the class, call 626-7777. Space is limited.

Proceeds will benefit the health & wellness programs and activities at the center.
