SOUTH CHINA — Erskine Academy students and staff attended a Renaissance Assembly on Dec. 16 to honor their peers with Renaissance Awards.

Recognition Awards were presented to the following students: Mikayla Blais, Summer Hotham, Morgaine Kmen, Logan Poulin, Lydia Boucher, Megan Lemieux, Tyler Walker, Annemarie Allen, Jakob Mills, Melissa Gallagher, Jeff Kierstead and Josh Buzzell.

In addition to Recognition Awards, Senior of the Trimester Awards were presented to Katie Keller, daughter of Anna Keller, of Augusta; Nathaniel Harrington-Howard, son of Tara Harrington and Peter Howard, of Vassalboro; Faith Krause, daughter of Trina and Mike Havey, of Somerville, and Jeff Krause, of Plainfield, Illinois; and Hannah Burns, daughter of Dan and Dolly Burns, of Whitefield.

Seniors of the Trimester are recognized as individuals who have gone above and beyond in all aspects of their high school careers.

In appreciation of their dedication and service to Erskine Academy, Faculty of the Trimester awards were also presented to Katherine Hersom, mathematics and science instructor; Mary MacFarland, family and consumer science instructor; and Michael McQuarrie, headmaster.
