Adia Luisa Eshiett, daughter of Kufre Eshiett and Ruby Eshiett, of Mesquite, TX, became the bride of Devin Andrew Gerrity at the Red Oak Convention Center on June 4, 2016. Devin is the son of Bruce and Katherine Gerrity of Manchester.

The Reverend Jeremy Walker, a fellow teacher and friend of the groom, officiated at the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father and mother, wore an ivory trumpet style gown, showcasing floral lace and delicate scalloping at the sweetheart neckline and train. The single tier cathedral length veil sat perfectly into her loosely curled hair.

Gabrielle Rojas of Dallas, TX, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Erica Vasquez, Mauricia Rodriguez, Monica Cannon, Ruth Fierro all from Dallas. Michael Brennan of Fort Lauderdale was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Gerrity of Macon, Ga., Logan Gerrity of Queens, NYC, Christopher McCormick of Manchester, Zachary Williams of Manchester, and Kalvinton Eshiett of Dallas, TX.

After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple has made their home in Cedar Hill, TX, where the groom is a fifth grade English teacher at Waterford Oaks Elementary School.

The bride is a graduate of the University of North Texas and has a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Education. She is employed at Baylor Hospital as Program Coordinator for an executive physical program. The groom graduated from Maranacook Community High School and was graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Hartford.  He has been a public school teacher in Texas since 2013. The couple is expecting their first child at the end of February 2017.
