AUGUSTA — Waterville students, Hanna Bouchard, Inga Zimba and Karen Zimba, met with Sen. Scott Cyrway, R-Benton, on March 8 at the Maine State House during the Arts Education Advocacy Day in the Hall of Flags.

The purpose of the event, organized by the Maine Alliance for Arts Education, was for art students from around the state to meet with their legislators to discuss the importance of the arts one-on-one.
