The Colonial Theatre Youth Troupe members auditioned for the program in December and have been attending classes and rehearsals since late January. Director Barbara Helen Baker says, “We have an unusually talented group of kids and dedicated parents.” Baker, who wrote and composed the piece at the request of a science teacher 30 years ago lamented, “Unfortunately, not much has changed since then, we’re still fighting pollution and greenhouse gases.”

Iona McCabe is the choreographer for the show and assisting the directors and designing the costumes is Cony High senior, Siuan Cody.
