NEW LONDON, Conn. — Kyle T. Holmsen, of Oakland, was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College on May 21 its 99th commencement ceremony. Holmsen majored in biological sciences.
The 442 members of Connecticut College’s Class of 2017 were addressed by President Katherine Bergeron; Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Colson Whitehead; and Student Government Association President Ramzi Kaiss ’17, a philosophy and international relations double major.
