Bruno’s Restaurant & Tavern, an Italian-American restaurant located at 33 Allen Ave. in Portland, has launched a new line of ravioli.
Bruno’s Pasta Company makes its products in a new commercial kitchen on Read Street using ravioli-making equipment imported from Italy. Ravioli varieties include traditional cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomato and basil. A lobster ravioli is in the works.
They can be purchased at Bruno’s, Micucci’s Grocery in Portland and Bow Street Market in Freeport. The ravioli also are available wholesale to local restaurants and catering companies.
The company eventually will also offer Bruno’s tomato sauce and its poppy seed dressing for retail sale.
