AUGUSTA — Bug Maine-ia is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Maine State Museum, 230 State St. Twenty-four exhibitors will providing hands-on displays, discoveries, and more for visitors of all ages.
The exhibitors come from throughout the state and include Maine Entomological Society, master Maine fishing guide Sean McCormick, Maine State Beekeepers Association, Maine Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture in the Classroom, Edible Insect Marketplace, Maine Forest Service, Maine Department of Environmental Protection, Hudson Museum, Maine State Museum, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Maine Art Glass Studio/Butterfly and Insect Museum, retired science teacher Jon Wallace, Friends of Edith Patch, Modern Pest Control, United States Department of Agriculture, and the Maine State Library.
