MADRID — The Sandy River Ramblers, a bluegrass band, will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at Reeds Mill Church on Reeds Mill Road.
The second annual concert of gospel music will feature songs about Maine.
The Ramblers boast the banjo playing of Madrid’s Bud Godsoe (who also will play some dobro and guitar), and the fiddling of 18-year-old virtuoso Finn Woodruff. Vocally, there’s a lot of variety with lead singing by Stan Keach, ulie Davenport and 15-year-old Dana Reynolds.
A freewill offering will be taken. Desserts will be for sale at intermission.
