MADISON — Oktoberfest is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Somerset Abbey, 98 Main St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will include live music, a Stein Challenge, and German inspired food and beverages.

Live music will feature Black Cat Road, a local band from Peru, that delivers an organic rocky/bluesy root sound inspired from Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lester Butler and Prince.

Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tickets include three 6-ounce tastes of fall October beer offerings or three tastes of hard ciders, and an appetizer plate of bratwurst and sauerkraut.

This is a 21-plus show, bring your ID to attend.
