The Friends of the Pittsfield Public Library are soliciting donations of gently used books for its next book sale.

Used audio books, DVDs and music also are welcome. Donations may be brought to the library during regular library hours, and may be considered for use in the library circulating collection.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to support library programs. The book sale will be held Oct. 12-14.
