Portland police are searching for a Portland man on a charge of domestic assault of his girlfriend at 5 a.m. Saturday in the area of Kennedy Park.
Police said Richard McDowell, 37, a transient, fled the scene on foot. He is described as black, 6-feet 1-inches tall, 185 pounds and wearing black sweat pants.
The girlfriend did not receive any medical treatment.
Police said they responded after receiving an emergency call.
