UNITY — Local bird guide Tom Aversa will lead an evening of exploration, teaching of birds starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 93 Main Coffee House on Main Street.

Aversa coordinates the Unity Christmas Bird Count, which takes place soon after his talk, so he will share what to watch for locally in the coming winter months.

Aversa has a life-long obsession with birds and all aspects of the natural world. He has studied birds for 50 years. He has co-authored three field guides on the birds of the Pacific Northwest and has taught as an adjunct instructor at Unity College.

A $5 donation is suggested. For more information, email info@sebasticookrlt.org or call 948-3766.
