AUGUSTA — Capital Area Technical Center recently announced Cady Beaulieu and Abigail Hutchins were named November Students of the Month, according to a news release from the center.
Beaulieu is a Cony High School senior enrolled in the Business Academy. Her instructor, Angela Dostie said, “Cady is always respectful, comes to class prepared and produces quality work,” according to the release. Beaulieu is involved in Cony’s Bowling Club, jazz band and pep band. She plays the drums and guitar and is teaching herself how to play the piano.
Upon graduation, Beaulieu plans to pursue further education in business.
Hutchins is a Hall-Dale High School senior enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program for the second year. Her instructor, Erin Sirois said, “Abigail demonstrates an excellent work ethic in the classroom. She is extremely dependable and has grown into a quiet, yet strong leader in the program’s pre-school, My First School,” according to the release.
When not in school, Hutchins can be found working at The Paper Store. Upon graduation, she plans to attend college and study education.
