A China man was slightly injured when the milk tanker truck he was driving went off Route 1A in Prospect Friday afternoon.

Randall Goneau, 34, received a minor injury when the Haskell’s Milk Transport truck, hauling 30,000 pounds of milk, he was operating went off the road, hit a utility pole and landed on its side at 1 p.m., said Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety, in a news release.

Goneau was treated at Waldo County General Hospital. The milk was a total loss, police said.
