The Wayne Farmers’ Market will open for its 10th season on Saturday, May 26, on Main Street, adjacent to the Post Office. Market hours will be 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday until Labor Day weekend.
Growers and producers will bring a variety of local food items, including vegetables, herbs, eggs, poultry, meat, cheeses, pepper jellies, maple products, baked goods, pesto and dips. Fruits and cut flowers will be available in season, as well as flowering plants and seedlings for the garden, body care products, goats milk soap, and pottery for the home.
There also will be live music and cooking demonstrations using food items from the vendors.
