NEW LONDON, N.H. — Colby-Sawyer celebrated its 180th Commencement on Saturday, May 5.
The following area students were among approximately 265 undergraduate and graduate degrees:
Calum Dixon, of Avon, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies. Dixon was the recipient of the Environmental Studies Capstone Award.
James Marshall, of Carrabassett Valley, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Marshall was the recipient of the Capstone Award for business administration and a member of the Men’s Alpine Ski Team.
Andrew Pratt, of New Sharon, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in sport management. Pratt was a member of the baseball team.
Ross Sirois, of Norridgewock, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology.
Julia Varney, of Readfield, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in public health. Varney was the recipient of the Public Health Capstone Award and Baccalaureate Award for excellence in her major, and was a member of the women’s tennis team.
Misty Waters, of Starks, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in child development. Waters plans to open her own child care center.
Molly Mushlit, of Manchester, graduated with an associate degree in liberal arts.
