AUBURN — Lost Valley Ski Area will host a Fat Bike event with the American Lung Association Trek Across Maine from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at 200 Lost Valley Road. The event is free to all participants.
There will be two separate rides for this event. The first ride will start at 11 a.m. for beginner riders. The second ride will begin at 1 p.m. for intermediate riders, it will be a 9-mile loop that will take around two hours.
Those interested in renting a fat bike for the event, can message Lost Valley Ski Area on Facebook. There will be a meet and greet and sign ups with American Lung Association Trek Across Maine representatives.
Music by Alex Roy is planned from 3 to 6 p.m. in the new pub and there will be specials and swag giveaways.
The ski area, featuring 22 trails of varying difficulties, two chairlifts and two surface lifts, and two terrain parks, learn to ski and snowboard program, is home to the Maine Family Snow Tube Park.
