The Maine Region of Guiding Eyes for the Blind is looking for people to become part of its puppy raising community.
As a puppy raiser, co-raiser or puppy sitter, you’ll invite one of our pups into your heart and home for 14 to 16 months. Raisers teach basic skills and socialize our puppies – sitters provide respite on an as-needed basis.
Puppy program volunteers receive ongoing local support every step of the way. Free veterinary care is provided for all pups.
