Bossov Ballet Theatre will present “In Search of Silence,” at 7 p.m. Friday, May 10, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Maine Central Institute, Parks Gymnasium, 295, Main St. in Pittsfield.

The conception of BBT Director, Natalya Getman, the work will use excerpts from famous poetic works by T.S. Eliot, William Wordsworth and Christina Rossetti to create a narrative framework for her original choreography, danced by BBT dancers. Seasoned Shakespearian actor, director and faculty member of London’s distinguished Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Tim Hardy, will provide a recorded poetic narrative for the production.

Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, $5 for children 5 and younger.

Led by Artistic Director Natalya Getman, Bossov Ballet Theatre at Maine Central Institute is both a performing company and an international pre-professional ballet school. The program offers students a unique opportunity to study and perform classical ballet as part of the academic curriculum, allowing them to earn full academic credit for ballet training.
