The following Whatever Family Festival events are schedule:
Saturday, June 29
• The Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2518 U.S. Route 202, in Winthrop.
• Sculptor in Residence will be featured in Stevens Commons in Hallowell
• Kennebec River Brewfest is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mill Park.
Wednesday, July 3
• Waterfront Wednesday will feature Lexi James at 6 p.m. in Waterfront Park in Augusta.
Thursday, July 4
• Friends on the 4th 5K Run, Jog or Walk will begin at 8 a.m. at Norcross Point in Winthrop.
• A Fourth of July Parade will begin at 4 p.m. from the State House to State Street to Water Street to Fort Western in Augusta.
• Belgrade will host a Fourth of July Parade at 4 p.m. starting at Rome Farm, proceeding south on Route 27.
• Fireworks are planned at 9 a.m. on Long Pond in Belgrade, at 9:15 p.m. in Mill Park in Augusta, and at 9:15 p.m. at Winthrop Area Chamber of Commerce in Winthrop.
