Having been honored to be your local pediatrician for many years, I was pleased by the positive response to my letter to the editor last July, urging you all to help conquer COVID by masking, distancing and sanitizing.
Now we have more ways to fight the virus, with three safe and effective vaccines, and I ask again for you to put your trust in the science, and get vaccinated when you have the chance.
We are not finished with this pandemic, but with your help we can look forward to a better future. Protect yourself, those you love, and your community. Please vaccinate, encourage others to vaccinate, mask, sanitize and distance. Together we can beat this.
