PHILLIPS — Maine’s 200 Bicentennial is the theme for the 2021 Old Home Days celebration, to be held Aug. 14-22.
Events will include the Old Home Days Parade set for 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20. Also to be included are bike and foot races, the Faerie Queen’s visit, a flower show, chicken shoot, Narrow-Gauge train rides, street dance, horse pull, chicken barbecue, and food vendors. A complete schedule is coming soon.

Tami Bredeau, a 15-year committee member of the Phillips Chamber of Commerce, has retired and handed the gavel over to Dina Goodwin. Goodwin, who has been active in the chamber, acknowledged Bredeau’s successful leadership of the chamber during past Old Home Days celebrations.
