LEWISTON — The following local students have been named to the 2021 winter semester dean’s list at Bates College, which ended in May. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.88 or higher.
Thaddeus Gunther of Farmington, son of Eric V. Gunther and Judith A. Gunther, is a 2017 graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. He is majoring in biology.
Cam Anderson of Northport, son of Joseph H. Anderson and Beth Whitten, is a 2019 graduate of Putney School in Vermont. He is majoring in politics.
Nathan Berry of Augusta, son of Henry N. Berry IV and Joan F. Berry, is a 2019 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta. He is majoring in psychology.
Shengyue Wang of Kents Hill, son of Wei Hu and Jianqun Wang, is a 2020 graduate of Kents Hill School.
Prisca Mbunga of Greene, is the daughter of Antoine Kikobo and Brigitte Dielumbaka. She is majoring in biology.
Ed Zuis of Monmouth, son of Edmund Zuis and Catherine V. Squires, is a 2020 graduate of Monmouth Academy.
Kahryn Cullenberg of Chesterville, the daughter of Arvid B. Cullenberg and Kelley N. Cullenberg, is a 2020 graduate of Mt. Blue High School. She is majoring in environmental studies and minoring in gender and sexuality studies.
Emma Christman of Litchfield, daughter of Paul M. Christman and Jana H. Christman, is a 2018 graduate of Baxter Academy for Technology and Science in Portland. She is majoring in geology and biology.
