DAMARISCOTTA — Skidompha Library patrons can sign up for free one-on-one help with a librarian to receive specialized assistance with technology questions at the 184 Main St. library.
The library will offer 20-minute sessions from 10 a.m. to noon every Wednesday, addressing people’s questions about using their phone, tablet, or computer; how to learn about posting to social media; and learning to use Skidompha’s digital resources.
Patrons can book a session ahead of time or drop in to ask for help. They can bring their personal devices or ask for general help using one of the library computers.
Help topics may include phone, tablet, and computer assistance, help with Google and Microsoft programs, help with social media platforms, and tips for utilizing online library resources. These sessions are designed to assist with using functioning technology and are not intended for device diagnosis or repair.
Patrons can register by signing up in person at the library’s front desk or calling 207-563-5513.
