Laurie Jones with special guest Mehuman and Sara Trunzo will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, at St. Lawrence Arts, 76 Congress St., in Portland.

Jones is a Maine based singer/songwriter that has been compared to Sheryl Crow for her Americana and folk-rock influences. Whether playing her songs acoustic solo, or backed by her rock-solid band, Jones delivers the lyrical sass and musical punch she has built her reputation on. She has recently announced her 7th, and latest album, “Dark Horse”.

Mehuman is a folk hop for hip folk singer/songwriter. Mehuman’s personal narrative is fraught with love, joy, loss and sorrow.

Trunzo is a country and northeastern singer-songwriter who calls Maine home, periodically and perennially. Her third record, “Cabin Fever Dream,” came out in September 2021 and appeared on Folk Alliance International and Americana radio charts.

Tickets cost $15 in advance, or $18 at the door.
