The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce plans to host the fifth annual Kennebec River Brewfest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Mill Park, at 2-32 ME-104 in Augusta.

This year’s Brewfest, presented by Highbrow, will feature a variety of local breweries, wineries, distilleries and meaderies.

With more than 60 different offerings to choose from, Brewfest attendees can get a taste of the craft beer and spirit industry in Maine. From Augusta to Bangor to Portland and beyond, craft beer and spirits continue to grow in the state, and the chamber is excited to present an event that brings the community together and allows local Maine breweries and distilleries to showcase their business, according to a news release from the Augusta-based chamber.

Food vendors, lawn games, and more will all be available at Kennebec River Brewfest.

Brewfest attendees will be given wrist bands to identify them, including one for the designated driver of the group. Early bird tickets for the event cost $30 for June and $40 for July.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $50. They include a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited four-ounce beer tastings and half-ounce spirit tastings, and admission from noon to 5 p.m.
