
The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the Rangeley Health & Wellness have announced the first-place winners of the fifth annual Rangeley RuKaBi race, a three-part race (run, kayak, and bike). The event was May 29, according to a news release from the chamber.
First Place Team went to Pine Tree Frosty or Bust — 56:38 with Sam Shipman, Daniel Barnett and James Barnett.

First Place Female went to Katie Pye — 1:08:46.
First Place Men went to Frances Hill — 1:17:45.
Sponsors included Applesauce Hill Icelandics, Rangeley Fireplace and Stove Co., Lyons Lakeside Cabins, Rangeley Lakes Trails Center, Ecopelagicon, Saddleback Maine, Oquossoc Grocery and Lakeside Convenience & Marina.
The successful event was made possible by all the volunteers.
