Capitol City Duplicate bridge group’s June 29 winners were Nancy Lenfest and Ken Harvey.
Jean Bird and Paul Jones placed second, Debra Gardner and Ron Cote third, and Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman fourth. In B flight Judy Danley and Ellen Partridge placed first and Sue Robinson and Peter Rosenburg second.
Dennis Purington and Tom Simmons were the June 23 winners.
The club meets every Wednesday at the Cohen Community Center, 22 Town Farm Road in Hallowell, at 12:30 p.m. It also meets Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road, at 6:30 p.m. There were no games planned for Wednesday and Thursday, July 6 and 7, but games are scheduled to resume every Wednesday and Thursday after that.
Partners are encouraged. Those who need a partner can contact Director Paul Mitnik at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
