Cub Scout Pack 454 plans to hold a signup event at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the New England Music Camp, 8 Goldenrod Lane in Sidney.
Pack 454 has Cubs from Oakland, Sidney and Belgrade, and is for children in grades K-5.

The Kennebec Valley Scouting Uniform Bank and Goodwill Industries of Maine also will host a Uniform Drive/Food Drive from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Waterville Goodwill, 10 Concourse W.
Free gently-used Scout uniforms or uniform accessories will be available. People can bring their “in code” dry or canned goods for the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church Food Bank. Each Scout who donates food gets a Scouting for Food patch.
The Food Bank is looking for dry food, canned foods and condiments.
