Readfield Elementary School Play Group, for toddlers and preschoolers in the community, plans to begin again in January.

The group will resume at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, in the breakfast cafeteria of the 84 South Road school. The group offers children and caregivers a time to talk and play, according to a news release from Patricia Clark, the director of Early Childhood Studies at the University of Maine at Augusta.

The group will meet each Thursday following the school calendar for vacations. People should use the front door to be buzzed into the school.
