Elm City Bridge Club
Lee Lenfest and Maureen Brochu finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the Sept. 12 duplicate bridge session. Ken Karvey and Diane Bishop placed second, and Su Morrison and Gabrielle Rice, third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Sept. 13 were Ken Harvey and Dennis Purington. Peter Rosenberg and Toby Frey placed second.
The winners for Sept. 14 were Paul Sherman and Ken Harvey. David Offer and Ben Lund finished second; Marilyn Ware and Martha Morrill placed third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Paul Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
