Elm City Bridge Club
Dick Quinlan and Jessie Gunther finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the Oct. 24 duplicate bridge session.
Su Morrison and Gabrielle Rice placed second, with Jeannie Reilling and Mary Anne Trafton third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Nov. 1 were Jean Bird and Kathy Burden. Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman placed second. The winners on Nov. 2 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami. Glenn Angell and Ken Harvey placed second.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
