The Hyperion Trumpet Ensemble, which features some of the best trumpeters in Maine, will perform at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, at The Hill Arts in Portland.
Members are graduates of music schools across the country. In addition to frequent solo performances, they have performed with the Portland, Bangor, Cambridge, and Midcoast Symphony Orchestras, Symphony New Hampshire, the Apollo Ensemble of Boston, the Philadelphia Brass Quintet, the Mainstreet Brass Quintet, and many other musical organizations throughout Maine and the Northeast.
The Hyperion Trumpet Ensemble includes players from a variety of professions who come together with three goals; to play great trumpet ensemble music to the highest possible standard, to have fun while performing, and to entertain their audiences.
