As workers continue efforts to restore power and begin recovery for Mainers impacted by Monday’s heavy rainfall and high winds, UScellular is donating $15,000 between two Maine chapters of the American Red Cross: the Central and Mid Coast Maine Chapter and the Northern and Eastern Maine Chapter, according to a news release from UScellular.
The following stores have phone chargers for any residents who may need them, while supplies last:
• Pine Tree Cellular: 191 Main St. in Farmington;
• 646 Wilton Road in Farmington;
• 403 Wilson St. in Brewer;
• 877 Stillwater Ave. in Bangor;
• 1 Stephen King Drive in Augusta; and
• 18 Waterville Commons in Waterville.
Customers who need to charge their devices, or access the internet or onsite support, can visit a UScellular retail store.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
