AUBURN — Each year, Good Shepherd Food Bank offers the opportunity for school and healthcare partners to apply for Capacity Building Grants.

The purpose of this program is to support partners looking to increase the amount of healthy food they’re able to distribute through their programs and to increase the number of individuals they serve.

Good Shepherd Food Bank invested $125,352 into 50 of its partners throughout the state, according to a news release from the organization.

A total of $40,000 was distributed to eight healthcare partners, and $85,352 was distributed to 42 school programs and afterschool partners.
