NORTH ANSON — Double-doubles from Liana Hartwell and Breanna Mills on Monday propelled the Valley girls basketball team to a 71-44 victory over Carrabec, which celebrated a 1,000-point scorer in Molly Hay.
Mills had 14 points and 14 rebounds for Valley (17-0), and Hartwell registered 12 points and 15 rebounds. Madeline Hill had a game-high 20 points for the Cavaliers.
Hay had 19 points for Carrabec (9-7) in the loss.
HALL-DALE 61, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 30: Torie Tibbetts’ torrid start drove the Bulldogs to a road win in Monmouth.
Tibbetts scored 10 of her game-high 17 points in the first quarter, helping Hall-Dale (15-1) jump out to a 24-5 lead. Jade Graham pitched in with 11 points, making at least one basket in each period.
Reese Beaudoin led Monmouth (6-10) with 10 points.
MT. ABRAM 47, BOOTHBAY 37: Abby McCarty led the Roadrunners with 11 points in the win over the Seahawks in Salem.
Jenna Osgood chipped in with 10 points for Mt. Abram (6-10).
Bella Orr led Boothbay (4-12) with 14 points.
RICHMOND 75, TEMPLE ACADEMY 27: Izzy Stewart had 28 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and three blocks to lead the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.
Lila Viselli added 21 points on seven 3-pointers to go along with seven assists for Richmond (16-2). Payton Cray chipped in eight points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Temple (4-13) was led by Mia Fitzpatrick with 16 points.
MADISON 90, LISBON 13: Kylee Furbush scored 19 points to lead the Bulldogs to the win in Madison.
Mackenzie Robbins added 14 points for Madison (15-2), while Raegan Cowan had 11.
Lisbon (0-17) was led by Deanna Adams and Delaney McGrath with four points each.
TELSTAR 39, OAK HILL 32: Morgan Zetts had a game-high 20 points to lead the Rebels to the win in Bethel.
Eliot Mackenzie had 10 points for Telstar (7-10).
Michaela Pontibriand led Oak Hill (1-16) with eight points.
MARANACOOK 40, KENTS HILL 18: Alice Ferran scored 11 points to lead the Black Bears to the win in Kents Hill.
Hadley Farrell added eight points for Maranacook (12-5).
Lucy McDonald scored eight points to lead the Huskies (2-14).
BOYS BASKETBALL
VALLEY 49, CARRABEC 45: Harry Louis scored 22 points to lead the Cavaliers to the win in North Anson.
Fisher Tewksbury added 16 points for Valley (14-4).
Carrabec (12-6) was led by Desmond Robinson with 16 points and Pete Vicneire with eight.
RICHMOND 80, TEMPLE 46: Wyatt Cassidy had 22 points and six rebounds to pace the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.
Hunter Mason added 17 points and six assists for Richmond (16-2) while Koleman Kroesser chipped in 11 points.
Temple (8-9) was led by Peyton Reckards with 15 points, Ricardo Lewis with 14 and Nathan Corey with 12.
BUCKFIELD 64, RANGELEY 62: Krosby Harvey paced the Bucks with 20 points in the win over the Lakers in Rangeley.
Justin Lucas finished with 15 points for Buckfield (8-9).
Brayden Thompson led all scorers with 35 points for Rangeley (5-12). Anthony Whittier chipped in with 13.
