Regarding the article on electric vehicles critics, one man interviewed found the idea of doing away “with most vehicles with gas engines is delusional, ludicrous and an affront to common sense” then goes on to say, “I haven’t even got time to list all the reasons.” How about time to list maybe a few? Another protester said the governor was “pandering to left-leaning climate change ideologues,” which suggests she’s dismissing such concerns.

Well, here’s a short list of concerns: more severe and frequent storms and flooding; rising sea levels: rapid melting of polar ice caps; more extreme temperatures. These remarks remind me of the many instances where MAGA folks make a comment against something or for someone and are asked to give an example or reasons for feeling that way and, what do you know, they can’t think of anything or, at best, they’ll mutter some well-worn cliche. Sad and troubling.
