The letter titled āResettling immigrants not in our interest,ā (Feb. 11) got my interest. Immigrants have historically always strengthened our country, economically and socially. The last paragraph that some might harm us I found disturbing. The same was said in the early 1900s about French and Italian (my grandparents) immigrants, and before then, the Irish (1840s). Those groups are now fully part of our national fabric.
Iām going to end with a point I made in a letter a few years ago about this subject. The most dangerous demographic in America when it comes to harm to us is the native-born armed white male adult. Care to come look in the mirror with me, guys?
