SKOWHEGAN — River Roads Artisans Gallery, a member cooperative, is set to open for the 2024 season on Thursday, May 2.
The 75 Water St. gallery features the work of more than 40 local artists and artisans and currently carries paintings, photography, baskets, jewelry, weaving, pottery, wood products, furniture, fabric arts, sea glass and Maine authors, according to a news release from the gallery.
River Roads Artisans is interested in new artists/artisans. Those who live and create primarily in Maine are encouraged to apply by emailing [email protected].
Other upcoming events include the pre-season sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, and a Mother’s Day Weekend open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
