Rep. Raegan LaRochelle has served in the Legislature for two terms. In that time, she has sponsored and co-sponsored legislation to promote affordable housing, protect reproductive rights, fund quality education, and support recovery work across the state. Her focus on improving the quality of life for Mainers is clear in her legislative record — we will be well served by sending her to represent District 15 in the state senate.

Two of Rep. LaRochelle’s sponsored bills highlight a particular strength. L.D.s 1745 and 631 supported recovery efforts and education, respectively. Both have been passed into law, clarifying existing laws and enabling them to function as intended. There is a lot of attention paid to entirely new laws, but the diligent work of revising and fine tuning language is just as, if not more, important.

I appreciate Raegan’s attention to efficacy and detail — she is clearly focused on results for her constituents. A vote for LaRochelle for Augusta, Belgrade, China, Mount Vernon, Sidney and Vassalboro this fall is a vote for a government that works!
