UNITY — The 48th annual Common Ground Country Fair is set for Friday through Sunday, Sept. 20-22.
The fair is held at the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s Common Ground Education Center 294 Crosby Brook Road. Tickets are on sale now at mofga.org.
MOFGA is hosting over 550 educational opportunities, 78 local music events, and 40 family friendly activities. Fairgoers can peruse over 540 exhibitors and vendors offering hand-made goods and tools for sustainable living.
Advance tickets are on sale through Wednesday, Sept. 18, at mofga.org/the-fair. Fairgoers will receive their tickets via email, and can download them to a smart phone or print them out to be scanned at the gate.
Those who do not have access to the internet may purchase tickets at the Belfast Community Co-op, Rising Tide Co-op, and Portland Food Co-op. These tickets are available at advanced ticket prices and through Sept. 18 (or as long as supplies last at an individual location). Starting on Sept. 19, tickets are full price through the event.
Advance pricing is $15 for adults (18-64), $12 for elders (65-plus), $12 for youth (13-17), free for children (12 and under), and free for persons with disabilities and one attending person. School groups are free on Friday, September 20. Volunteers receive free admission for the day of their four-hour volunteer shift, plus a Common Ground Country Fair T-shirt and other benefits. MOFGA members receive complimentary Fair tickets based on membership level.
