
Louise “Mickey” Brown of Augusta was honored recently, by members of the Pemaquid Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, for her service to communities at Mama D’s Restaurant in Boothbay Harbor.
Brown gave 31 years of service to Maine Veterans at Togus and Maine communities through DAR and as a nurse. She held many leadership positions and was the Pemaquid chapter regent from 2006-16.
She focused on awarding DAR Good Citizen Awards to graduating high school seniors and drawing attention to Constitution Week.
