Elm City Bridge Club

Nancy Nesbit and Natasha Rosenbaum finished first at the Elm City Duplicate Bridge Club on Sept. 3.

Lee Lenfest and Wilma Pouliott were second, with Dick Quinlan and Jessie Gunther third.

Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club

The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Aug. 28 were Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman. 

Nancy Lenfest and Nancy Lindgren finished second; Jean Bird and Ken Harvey finished third. 

The winners on Aug. 29 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami. Paul Sherman and Glenn Angell  finished second; Lorrie Letourneau and Dennis Purington finished third. 

The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.

Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
