Elm City Bridge Club winners on Nov. 12 were Rona Backstrom and Natasha Rosenbaum.

Ken Harvey and Diane Bishop placed second, and Lee Lenfest and Jeannie Reilling placed third.

Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club

The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Oct. 30 were Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley. Pat Damon and Dan Townsend finished second; Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman finished third.

The winners on Oct. 24 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami. Glenn Angell and Dennis Purington finished second; Lorrie Letourneau and Marilyn Ware finished third.

Winners for Nov. 6 were Mitnik and Sherman. Fred Letourneau and Hinckley finished second; Ron Cote and Dennis Purington finished third.

Nov. 7’s winners were Mitnik and Sherman. Simmons and Goswami finished second; Purington and Vern Arey finished third.

The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.

Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
