Elm City Bridge Club

Su Morrison and Gabrielle Rice finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the Nov. 19 duplicate bridge session. Lee Lenfest and Jeannie Reilling were second, and Ken Harvey and Diane Bishop, third.

Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club

The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Nov. 13 were Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman. Pat Damon and Dan Townsend finished second; Fred Letourneau and Kathleen Burden, third.

Winners Nov. 14 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami. Mitnik and Sherman finished second; Dennis Purington and Vern Arey finished third.

The winners Nov. 20 were Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley. Mitnik and Sherman finished second; David Offer and Ron Cote finished third.

On Nov. 21, David Martz and Anil Goswami finished first, with Ruth Kenney and Madeline Fogarty second and Marilyn Ware and Martha Morrill third.

The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.

Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the games.
