GARDINER — The city’s downtown winter artwalk is set for 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.
The artists and their works will be located in shops, galleries, artists’ studios, and other venues throughout downtown. There will be accordion music by Gary Chapin as he strolls along Water Street, as well as a tree lighting event.
There will also be a chance to win an original piece of art by two local artists Robin Brooks and Denae Ferguson. To participate, people can pick up an Artwalk Gardiner map at the event and collect signatures at 10 different venues. Maps must be dropped off at the raffle table by 7:45 p.m.
Artists include Adria Keneagy, Alan Claude, Allison McKeen, Anne El-Habre, Cassie Sano Art, Ceramic Design by Cherie, Cloud 8 Artworks, Dandelion Art, Darcy Duda, Denae Ferguson, Donald Patten, Dorthy Anne Sirois, Ellen Roberts, John Carnes, Judith Long, Kaitlin Thibeau, Kalee Beckim, Karen Adrienne, Katy Corbett, Kelly Maines, Living Lines Illustration, Luke Myers, Mary K Spencer, Matt Demers, Mike Gent, Pamela Hetherly, Robin Brooks Art, Stitch ‘n Bitch & More, Taylor Newbeck and Upstream Cobbossee.
Host venues include Artdogs Studios, Awakened Intuition, Bateau Brewing, Circling the Square Fine Art Press, Goldfinch Creamery, Gardiner Public Library, Lisa’s Legit Burritos, Mariposa, Monkitree, Pistil & Page, Selene’s Fly Shop, Spindleworks, Spinning Head Vintage, Table Bar and 266StillWater.
