MADISON — A Madison woman died Tuesday in a single-vehicle rollover crash, the cause of which remains under investigation, according to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.

Kelly Paskoski, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Old County Road, Chief Deputy Mike Mitchell of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement issued Tuesday evening.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to Mitchell.

A preliminary investigation found that Paskoski was driving a 2015 Toyota RAV4 south “when she veered off the right side of the roadway, striking a rock before rolling her vehicle over,” Mitchell said. Nobody else was in the vehicle.

Paskoski was not wearing a seatbelt, Mitchell said.

Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office were working to determine the cause of the crash, Mitchell said. Sgt. Ritchie Putnam, who responded to the crash with Deputy Stacey Slate, is the primary investigator. Sgt. Joseph Jackson forensically mapped the crash.

The Madison Fire Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office.

Old County Road connects routes 43 and 148, running north to south.
