AUGUSTA — The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association is scheduled to unveil the 2025 Common Ground Country Fair artwork at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Maine Agricultural Trades Show at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive.
The artwork is the central image for the fair, to be held in Unity on Sept. 19-21, and is selected from contest submissions each year.
The poster will be displayed at the MOFGA booth (Booth 62), and the artist will sign posters and talk about inspiration for the winning design.
MOFGA’s annual celebration of rural living features 1,000-plus exhibitors and speakers, and emphasizes vibrant communities, sustainable living and local economies, while highlighting organic agriculture.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
