Marvin Alcantara drove in three runs, Caden Rose homered and Ahbram Liendo went 3 for 4 with two RBI, leading the Portland Sea Dogs to a 6-2 win over the Hartford Yard Goats in an Eastern League game Tuesday night at Hartford, Connecticut.
The Sea Dogs scored in each of the first four innings: an RBI double by Alcantara in the first, an RBI single by Liendo in the second, Rose’s sixth home run of the season in the third, and Liendo’s sacrifice fly in the fourth.
Sea Dogs pitchers John Holobetz and Reidis Sena combined on a four-hitter. Holobetz went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks, with six strikeouts. Sena struck out four and gave up only one hit over the final three innings.
